Following this pattern, a new book is in the works to tell the story of Michael Audrey Myers and his murderous legacy in Haddonfield, Illinois.
Penned by filmmaker and author Justin Beahm, Halloween: The Complete Authorized History will be released in October 2013 to coincide with the 35th anniversary of the release of John Carpenter's seminal masterpiece. The book will cover the making of all eleven HALLOWEEN films, beginning with HALLOWEEN (1978) and ending with the latest, HALLOWEEN 3D.
