THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL DVD DETAILS

THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL is due out on DVD and Blu-ray today, courtesy of Dark Sky Films.

The details surrounding the extras on these discs are a little perplexing, as the standard-definition DVD reportedly contains:

• Audio commentary by writer/director/editor Ti West and actress Jocelin Donahue
• Audio commentary by Ti West, producers Larry Fessenden and Peter Phok and sound designer Graham Reznick
• “In the HOUSE OF THE DEVIL” featurette
• “Behind the HOUSE OF THE DEVIL” featurette
• Deleted scenes
• Theatrical trailer

Conversely, the Blu-ray reportedly contains:
• Audio commentary by writer/director/editor Ti West and actress Jocelin Donahue
• “In the HOUSE OF THE DEVIL” featurette
• Theatrical trailer

Even more vexing, the standard DVD lists at $27.98 and the Blu-ray is priced at $34.98 - they want you to pay more for less? Strange...
