EAST COAST PREMIERE OF NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: REANIMATED & ALL-STAR ZOMBIE PANEL

NEW JERSEY “ZOMBIE ENCOUNTER” HOSTS EAST COAST PREMIERE OF NIGHT OF THE
LIVING DEAD: REANIMATED, KICKS OFF FALL FESTIVAL FRENZY.

Plus – Latest NOTLD:R teaser poster revealed.

RAMSEY, NJ – Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated will enjoy its East Coast premiere on Saturday, October 10th at 6pm in Ramsey, New Jersey as the lead-in to a “Zombie Encounter” panel that will feature Bram Stoker-winning horror authors, including Jonathan Maberry (Zombie CSU), Dr. Kim Paffenroth (Gospel of the Living Dead), John Joseph Adams (The Living Dead), and David Barr Kirtley (Weird Tales); and also Wild Eye Releasing’s Rob Hauschild and Peter Gutierrez, who will participate in a discussion of all things living dead in culture, including comics and film.

The Science Fiction Society of Northern New Jersey presents the event that begins at 6pm with a NOTLD:R screening, featuring introduction by the project’s organizer Mike Schneider and followed by a Q&A before the “Encounter” panel begins. The event is free and all ages are welcome.

The event will take place at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 55 Wyckoff Ave, Ramsey New Jersey.

NOTLD:R is a radical “art show” of moving images that pays homage to the Romero classic in stunning — and often hilarious — ways. The project incorporates the work of nearly 150 artists using an arsenal of styles to re-envision the 1968 classic like never before.

The project team has also released a new follow-up teaser poster for NOTLD:R, which instantly evokes the classic style of EC Comics, and speaks to the styles of the many traditional comics artists who contributed to the project. It also conveys the pulpy, horror artistry of the original 1968 film.

The October 10th screening kicks off a month of film festival stops for Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated, which saw its world premiere bow at the REVENANT FILM FESTIVAL in Seattle last month. This includes screenings at SEVERED CINEMA in Stroudsburg, PA on Friday, October 16 (featuring NOTLD:R art show and live music), DEDFEST in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on
Sunday, October 18, and during the MAYHEM HORROR FESTIVAL in Nottingham UK, at a date to be announced.

Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated will be available worldwide both online and on DVD in the early Spring from Neoflux Productions and Wild Eye Releasing.
