TWO NEW ELM STREET SEQUELS IN THE WORKS
The opening weekend box office receipts of newly-remade horror fare from years past has made it a no-brainer to revist classic horror films (and some not-so-classic) of our childhood and put a contemporary spin on them. The most obvious introductions into these newly made terror trips is the modern day computer and cell phones, tools that were never available to victims out at Camp Crystal Lake or Elm Street or Haddonfield, IL.
There is little reason to believe that the new version of Wes Craven's classic 1984 horror film won't be lucrative if the box office receipts of the remake of FRIDAY THE 13TH are any gauge of box office profitability.
Let’s hope that Haley looks more sinister than he does in the pictured mock-up courtesy of a Photoshop guru!
