STAR TREK CONVENTION COMING TO PARSIPPANY, NJ
Creation Entertainment is pushing ahead with more upcoming conventions. The next STAR TREK convention will be held in Parsippany, NJ late next month. Beginning Friday, July 31st through Sunday, August 2nd, fans will have the opportunity to meet and speak with Leonard Nimoy, Kate Mulgrew, Connor Trinneer, John Billingsley, Robert O'Reilly, J.G. Hertzler, Jeffrey Combs, Marc Alaimo, and Suzie Plakson to name a few. You're advised to check the website regarding guests (the days they are appearing), tiered admission costs (i.e. Gold Weekend Pass, Preferred Weekend Admission, General Admission, etc.), and all convention events.
According to her website, Virginia Hey, best known to sci-fi and fantasy audiences as the Warrior Woman in THE ROAD WARRIOR and as Pa'u Zotoh Zhaan in FARSCAPE will also be appearing with Vernon Wells who played Wez in THE ROAD WARRIOR.
More guests will be announced in the weeks ahead.
CONVENTION EVENTS:
Guests will be appearing on-stage to discuss their careers and upcoming projects. In addition, select guests will be participating in something new: exclusive meals with a very select group of fans (usually five to ten patrons). Check the Creation website in the days ahead for more information. Here are the guests who are tentatively set so far:

Scheduled for Friday Night at 9pm, spend a delightful evening with JG HERTZLER, ROBERT O'REILLY and SUZIE PLAXSON (Klingons all) and hosted by JEFFREY COMBS (who has played everything but a Klingon!). This event is featured on a complimentary basis for all Gold Weekend Patrons (keeping the same seats you have during the daytime). For others tickets are available for $15 for general admission, $25 for reserved seating. Order in advance or pick up at the convention.
THE GREAT CREATION DESSERT PARTY CENTERPIECE CONTEST
Another way that fans can show off their love of STAR TREK creatively is by entering the famous themed CENTERPIECE CONTEST. This event takes place at the DESSERT PARTY (Saturday Evening) and is for Gold Members attending the event. Create the very best centerpiece that touches the hearts of the judges and you might just win a special $250 Gift Certificate. Just be "GOLD" and bring your entry to the party and that's all it takes to enter.
THE CREATION COSTUME PARADE
The famous Creation Entertainment Costume Parade Competition is always a highlight of the convention. Set for Saturday here is your chance to show off your creative abilities by dressing as any character or making up your own. The winner goes home with a $250 gift certificate but there will be prizes for everyone who enters.
