DEEP RED INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF FANTASTIC FILM 2009
The first annual Deep Red International Festival of Fantastic Film 2009 (DRIFFF for short) is scheduled to be held on April 24-25 in Portland, OR and May 8-9 in Seattle, WA. Shade Rupe (formerly of Wild Eye Releasing) and Chris Bavotta are the festival programmers, the purpose of which is to showcase new films that are intended as straight-to-video releases and afford them the opportunity to be seen on a theater screen along with discussions by their creators and the audience.
