PHANTASM RISES FROM THE GRAVEYARD TONIGHT, BOY!!!!

Although we mentioned this earlier a few weeks ago, if you're in the Los Angeles area tonight a special screening will be held of Don Coscarelll's PHANTASM to promote the Anchor Bay DVD release of PHANTASM IV: OBLIVION on DVD (release date is August 26, 2008). The screening will be held at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on 6000 Santa Monica Boulevard which is where ONE DARK NIGHT was filmed. So, if you're a movie location whore like yours truly, go check it out! And bring a toothbrush!

Also scheduled to be at the screening will be director Coscarelli, the one and only Tall Man Angus Scrimm, Reggie Bannister and Kathy Lester, who played the Lady in Lavender.

The gates open at 7:30 p.m.; the show begins at about 8:30 p.m. Admission is a $10 donation, and parking is $5; you may bring your own food if you want to eat during the show.
