HALLOWEEN CELEBRATES IT'S 30TH ANNIVERSARY IN PASADENA, CA

Halloween is once again upon us and the 30th anniversary of the original watershed film's release was yesterday (originally released on Wednesday, October 25, 1978). To celebrate the lucrative Halloween franchise, a massive convention is being mounted in Pasadena, CA, home to the original locations of John Carpenter's original classic.

30 YEARS OF TERROR, the official Halloween convention, runs from October 31 through November 2 at the Pasadena Convention Center located at 300 East Green Street, Pasadena, CA. 91101. There are plenty of hotels in the area, so be sure to make your reservations now if you haven't already.

The festivities are as follows:

Thursday, October 30, 2008:

Pre-registration begins at 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm in the Cordova room at the Sheraton Hotel which is connected to the convention center. This where you can pick up your tickets and VIP goodie bags.

Friday, October 31, 2008 - Halloween:

Horror's Hallowed Grounds Bus Tour
This bus tour is sold out, so those of you who have paid for it must bring your documentation with you to get on the bus. This tour you will take you to locations from Halloween (1978), Halloween II, Halloween III: Season of the Witch, Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007) as well as other films like A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Fog (1980) and more. There will also be a stop at for lunch at Haddonfield Charbroiled Burgers from Rob Zombie's Halloween. (Cost of lunch not included)

The tour will last about 6 hours so bring plenty of film and extra batteries for those digital cameras. (Exact locations visited as well as estimated tour time may differ due to traffic or weather.)

- 9:00am Bus Tour Registration Begins

- 10:00am - 4:00pm Bus Tour (Including Lunch Break), (Estimated Tour Time 6 Hours)

- Bus Tour Begins at 10:00am sharp. 2 Buses will leave every 30 minutes until 12:00 pm. If you miss your bus you are on your own.

- Pre-registration continues from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm in the Cordova room at the Sheraton Hotel which is connected to the convention center. This where you can pick up your tickets and VIP goodie bags.

- 12:00am Midnight Screening of the original "HALLOWEEN". This screening is for the VIP GOLD PASS holder ONLY. No additional tickets will be sold for this screening.
Saturday, November 1, 2008:

- 11:00am Doors Open to GOLD V.I.P. Pass Holders

- 12:00pm Doors Open to General Admission Holders (Daily Convention Events to be posted a week before the show)

- 6:00pm Convention Doors Close

-9:00pm -1:00am Malek Akkad's Official 30th Anniversary Halloween Bash (Exclusive Event requires additional ticket)

Sunday, November 2, 2008:

- 11:00am Doors Open to GOLD V.I.P. Pass Holders

- 12:00pm Doors Open to General Admission Holders (Daily Convention Events to be posted a week before the show)

- 6:00pm Halloween Auction (Get some amazing collectibles, merchandise, film used props and more!)

- Convention Concludes after the Auction.
