I agree. Hardly anything goes on on that farm without Hershel knowing about it. I don't believe he didn't know about that

"Professor! Can't you examine my brain without removing it?"

"Yes, easily."

You're probably right. I'm just saying if Otis was the wrangler it's possible Hershel (or anyone) didn't find out about it given Otis died soon after.

I personally figure they'll go with "he did know" not least because Hershel was really trying to rush them off the farm.

That's what I'm thinking too.

SPOILER

I imagine Rick will be devastated and blame himself for what happened too. I can almost see the group splitting over this

I had the same thought mate. And when I had it my reaction was "I hope they do that".

I think not only would them splitting up make sense (given the conflict within the group), but also allow them to keep story momentum going by switching from a group in an inactive situation, to one in an active one.

I've read many, many comments about people criticising the pacing of Season 2, and the inertia (and over safety) of being on the farm. I can agree with that on at least some level.

I think it makes sense for Shane to split from Rick/Lori, and Andrea from Dale. But I wonder who else they could get into the Shane/Andrea group. It almost seems like those too would go off on their own as they previously planned. If Rick's group stay on the farm I doubt Carol/Daryl stay (given Sofia being silently holed up in the barn by Hershel). So that could work.

T-Dog? What's the point in him anyway? Could he be any more underdeveloped/stereotypical?

i would agree that the pacing of the show has dropped in season two, but its still by far the best show on tv.
I think the group will fragment. It will be interesting to see if Maggie joins the group or stays with Hershel.
The T-Dog character is so underdeveloped half the time I forget he is in it.

Wow, I see you guys are really engrossed in the Walking Dead. I lost track somewhere near the beginning. I'm thinking maybe picking up on dvd and watching all the way through over the xmas period.

I think it is going to be interesting to see what happens in the latter half of the season - if what I think is going to happen, happens, it will be kinda mind blowing for a lot of people (those who haven't read the comic, mostly) haha

I was meant to get this as a Christmas Present from a friend on a different forum but he never sent it. I may or may not go out and buy it myself. I have heard good things and like the shorts of it I have viewed.

Just finished watching last nights episode. Have to say I'm a little disappointed with the follow up. I was hoping for a big bust up within the group and even a split. Disappointed we didn't get that but overall it was an enjoyable episode. Looking forward to the rest of the season

I just saw the first two episodes this weekend. Love the show so far, it's great, and from the little I've seen, I love how the series seems to take so many cues from the most classic zombie material out there. Episode 2 was especially interesting, since it shows humans ''mingling'' with the zombies in a way I've never seen before.
Very fun show, can't wait to see more.

Really good episode. Lori was actually good in this one. Rick should of left him on the fence but I guess there is a reason why..also the zombie in the windshield, very awesome.

Agreed! Lori usually gets on my nerves (especially with bonehead moves like last week's ep). Og and that windshield zombie, yes, awesomeness! I also found the "bit to the face" pretty fantastic

Great episode. Loved the wind shield zombie and the shoot out at the bar. So many possibilities for where all these events can lead too. I can't wait for tomorrow's episode
