Default My Bloody Valentine 3-D (remake)

So, what is everyone thinking about this remake? The fact that it is in 3-D sounds very cool. It films like this that I do not mind them remaking because they can be done better than the first.

Notice: I said "CAN" doesn not mean they will be. Here's to hoping that this one will rock.

Funny - we were just talking about this on another thread.

I really want to see it. I've never seen a movie in 3D before. I think even if the movie is crap it might be worth it to see it in the theater for the 3D effect.

I'm thinking I'm going to go see it on Saturday.

Im a big fan of the original so im a tad aprehensive to say the least about this remake.
As for 3D movies, I went to see Fiday The 13th pt 3 in 3D at the cinema. Plenty of flying eyeballs & harpoons but I wasn't overly impressed with the 3d effect. Maybe 20 odd years on it will look better.

3-D has come a LONG way! No more of those crappy red/blue glasses.....now they are clear.

As for the movie...it totally has the feel of the early 80's slasher fest movies!

I was wondering about that - if you got the glasses at the theater. I'm mega-excited. Only crappy part is I'm going by myself...lol.

Haha - I would if he weren't working that day. Both of them are working so I figured I would actually go do something for myself for a change instead of running errands and cleaning like a good little housewife.

Hmmm...Watertown...about an 8-hour drive or so - maybe 10. Not too bad. If my car could go over 55 mph I'd so be there.
= )

With the release of My Bloody Valentine 3D.....the original My Bloody Valentine has been released to DVD with all the original gore and death scenes reissued into the film... I have seen this new version and as I stated before in other posts,I like My Bloody Valentine...its a good movie, not great but good....With the addition of the original gore scenes,I do believe it helped to deliver the impact of the movie.....The pick-axe into Haps head up from the chin out through the eye is a much better scene intact,Mabels death in the laundry mat and her body found in the dryer is very cool......Being a big horror/gore fan I believe that this new version of the movie re-introduces a good movie to the viewing public.....

Yeah I liked it..it had a nice 1980's slasher feel to it.
