both are great films, i would have to go with Candyman tho

I agree that both are really great movies. Which one I like better depends pretty much on my mood in that moment, but - overall - I think "Candyman" is slightly better.
In my view "Child's Play II" is the best part of the entire series, have not seen "Seed of Chucky" yet, though.

Child's play is too much of a comedy for my liking.

I prefer Candyman.

I like both.

Candyman is definitely a better movie.

Child's Play is a kinda playful thriller. Works in that context, but Candyman does its job better.
