Red State, wasn't overly impressed to be honest although Micheal Parks was great.

Fast zombies?
They should def shuffle in my opinion. More creepy this way..although a fast zombie far more frightening for obvious reasons. Fulci's Zombi Flesheaters THE zombie movie, followed by Dawn; and the remake was pretty good too. Zombies walking on ceilings in Day remake...forgetit! ![]() Last movies watched: Coraline and Mirrormask. The latter worth a look for those who are a fan of Dave McKean, if only to see his work translated onto the big screen! And Evil Dead. Still creepy and brilliant, even the dodgy stop-motion SFX a joy!

Batman Begins. Liked this more this time round, altho still can't take to Bale as Batman.
I shall be re-watching the Dark Knight as I may be going to see the DK Rises this weekend, so will give my verdict on that if s

Aliens. If there ever was a more convincing argument for "some sequels are better than the original" then this is most definitely it. It has everything the original and more. Tense, claustrophobic and plenty of action to boot. Also this film is a worthy contender to prove that animatronics will always be superior to CGI

The original Dawn of the Dead. It's a classic. I don't need to say much more, I think haha

Paranormal Activity 3, pretty much as rubbish as the others, though the last five minutes looked like it was going somewhere. Shuffling zombies are definately best and Fulcis Zombie Flesh Eaters is THE número UNO zombie flick. Aliens better than Alien? Are you kidding? Alien is far superior, I even thought Prometheus was on a par with Aliens.

Agree with the Fulci comment & Alien being a much better movie than Aliens but Prometheus was dreadful.

I have never rated Aliens, so me putting Prometheus on a par with it by no way means that I think it's a great film, but it's certainly not dreadful, I actually enjoyed it and found the huge plot holes (if, indeed, they were holes) thought provoking as they have sparked off a lot of debate. I've not been on this forum in years so I'm afraid I'm not up to speed with the current thoughts on here.

There were moments of Prometheus that were brilliant, if I could just take those, but overall lacking. Obviously visually stunning no doubt.

Konga. It was a British B monster movie about a scientist who finds a serum that can exponentially increase growth. He gave it to his pet chimp (which eventually became a dude in a gorilla costume) and hilarity ensued.
