Ya'know the scenes at the beginning with her and her family? Well they were never part of the movie. The first time you saw her was when Ripley discovered her hiding (an hour in). It almost doesn't seem right (or at least necessary) to see her before that now.

...you know I don't even remember anything that happened in the Ring 2, haha.

I watched Dead and Buried tonight. It was OK...a knock off of The Fog. Small town with a deep dark secret. Interesting concept behind it though.

Paranormal Activity (will wait for discussion)

Halloween (1978)
Still brilliant in almost every single way but Donald Pleasence makes the film. I honestly don't think any other actor would've worked as Dr. Loomis despite Peter Cushing being offered the role first I'm glad he turned it down, as much as I love Peter I don't think he would've been right in the role and certainly wouldn't have returned for the sequels

"Some sort, yes. In France it's called a guillotine."

"Professor! Can't you examine my brain without removing it?"

"Yes, easily."

Halloween is timeless, still as scary now as it was back in the day.

I watched Big Fish again. Not one of my fave Tim Burton films but enjoyable enough.

Well worth reading. The Mayfair witches books are awesome, as are the vampire chronicles.

Yeah, I've always wanted to. Just one of those "round to it" things, I guess.
