Shutter! Thinking I'm going to use a similar theme for the end of one of my stories in my next book. Great film, that.

As for best ending in a horror movie....well, Carrie was pretty memorable. And so was Night of the Living Dead, of course. I liked how the Dawn of the Dead remake ended, if you sat and watched the scenes during the credits.

i really like movies that are based on true stories and that the case are unresolved because it brings a lot of suspense feel to it and that you remain wondering in the end if this is something that can recurr in the future i do hope that more unresolved stories like this will be made into films because they are really the ones that are better horror movies than the made up ones

What did you all think of the ending of The Shining? Stephen King didn't like it, but I think that it fit.

Default dead boyfriend

Maybe not the best ending "of all time," but the videographer boyfriend getting snapped in half by an uppity coven leader in Paranormal Activity 3 was pretty memorable.

Knowing (2009) i really like a film where any get killed at the end of the movies, plus Nicolas Cage gets it too!
