Body of Lies with Leonardo DiCaprio an Russell Crowe. Two intense and compelling performances from the two leads fuels much of the story and movie.Top notch entertainment and current to today s world.

Jacob s Ladder with Tim Robbins, exceptional film with an excellent performance from Robbins with some disturbing moments worthwhile watch to say the least.

I always watch a wide variety of movies though I've seen my fair share of horror films throughout the past however long you'd care to check back in my film journals, which I started nearly two years ago~incredibly belatedly.
Melody (1971) ~ time-tripping to my early 20s...
Apollo 13 ~ what a MAJOR disappointment! I'll stick with The Right Stuff!
Kiss of Death (1947) ~ Richard Widmark as Tommy Odo shoving wheelchair-bound Mildred Dunnock downstairs... Nuff said!
Pickup on South Street ~ great film noir ~ those dirty Commies!
Kitty (1945) ~ period film with Cecil Kellaway as painter Gainsborough and Paulette Goddard (Scarlett O'Hara wannabe) as Kitty
Becket and Lawrence of Arabia ~ Peter O'Toole double feature!!
The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes ~ hmmmm... I'm still not sure how I feel about this movie.
Crusade: A March through Time ~ I actually like this time-travel movie though I went into it dubious. I'd like to have the soundtrack if only for the period melodies.

Sheesh! I watch an awful lot of horror I say as I leaf through my journal!

I watched Desperate Measures with Andy Garcia and Michael Keaton.Predictable but definitely uplifted by a powerhouse performances from Keaton and the usual solid job from Garcia.

There is a classic I never get sick of,gotta watch Goodfellas mental note.Unforgettable performances by all three leads and in my opinion Scorcese s masterpiece.Acting kudos to Paul Sovino and Lorraine Bracco.

The Sum of All Fears with Morgan Freeman and Ben Affleck,it s decent, well paced, and at times uneven thriller.Morgan Freeman does hes usual outstanding work, but Ben Affleck in the lead seems out of place, miscast in his role, although he certainly tries hard delivering an overall good performance.Just bring back Harrison Ford.
