Agreed, in many ways I actually think Hellbound is a better film than Hellraiser.

I'd go along with that. Such a shame the third couldn't have continued the trend; to have a trilogy at least of decent films that do justice to Barker's mythology.

Having said this, I watched the third again not too long ago and I love the scene in the church in spite of myself....(Don't let the third film put you off reading Peter Atkins also, brilliant writer!)

Goblin's stuff all sounds good, I also like that piece entitled "Valley" by Bill Wyman in Phenomena, very haunting.

Goblin are awesome. I love the Phenomena soundtrack too. Maidens Flash of the Blade put to good use here.
