Default The Big Bang Theory

Anyone else watch this?

IMHO probably the best show on TV (either that or Family Guy)

I like it Franc. But I tell ya, the laugh track really gets on my tits. It's the most egregious example of one I've heard in years.

US Comedy-wise I'm digging Community these days.

Agree on Family Guy. And it's really avoiding Simpsonitis, considering how long it's been going now.

I take your point about the laugh track but it is so well written, the character of Sheldon is pure comedy gold. One of the rare shows in the respect that I have yet to see a poor one.
I will have to check Community out

Yeah, it's one of those things I'm still fighting to get past. And it's the only reason I don't watch it religiously.

Sheldon is gold. There's no show without him for me. Jim Parsons apparently came off as a bit of an unexpected find for them when the show started. I don't think the role could have been cast better.

It's a slow burn, but one that really starts to grow on you. If you have Virgin, Series 1 is kicking about on OnDemand for a few more days.

I am totally hooked on this show! The character of "Sheldon" makes the show works. Ok....let's all sing "soft kitty".

It is awesome. I've still to catch up on earlier shows I've missed. Agree with Franc it is well written, and the Sheldon character is fab. I'm careful not to say I identify with him
