It is very funny. Depp is brilliant.

prometheus, it bored the hell out of me the first half was ok then the second half just lost the plot. just wished he stuck to a normal story instead of trying to be fancy.

Ha. 3DD? That bad they had to stick an extra D on

Last movie Inferno. One thing that struck me watching this again was the way Argento lights everything in reds and blues, which are the lights in and around the apartment building apparently. It really adds to the intense atmosphere I think.

And those rain-lashed street scenes are awesomely creepy, a la Suspiria.

Haha seriously the first Piranha wasn't great but it was fun. This is awful, truly, truly awful lol
I need to re-watch Inferno, I remember liking it but feeling disapointed by the ending which from memory semed very rushed.

I agree. It's certainly no Suspiria. And there's no Goblin soundtrack which takes some of the intense horror that the first film has away. The ending of Suspiria is one of the scariest moments I've seen, manages to convey real sense of evil; Inferno never really pulls this off. Still, visually its great.

Will be intersting to see what the Mother of Tears is like, which I haven't seen yet.

The Mother of Tears.

Not overly impressed. I guess these movies (Inferno) have lots to live up to within the shadow cast by the mighty Suspiria.

I wasn't keen on it either. I hate to say this but Argento hasn't made a good movie for years.

I just watched Sand Sharks, why do I put myself through these films??

The first one was enjoyable in a really lame kind of way, just a fun film. The second is just a disaster, aimed at young teenage boys who haven't discovered porn yet. It does have the classic line "Josh cut off his penis because something came out of my vagina" though!

It's pretty crap isnt it. Thought there were some good points but a good movie it is not. Shame, could have been great.

I liked Argento's the Card Player, which was basically just another giallo formulaic in the mould of his earlier efforts. And the Stendahl Syndrome was pretty good altho its a long time since I watched it.

Sand Sharks? Anything with shark in the title I make an effort to avoid. It does not bode well
