I do like the childs play trilogy and I do say TRILOGY and I think that todays socioty blame movies games and music way to much, its pointless, it doesnt solve anything but it gets people boycotting the film, I personally blame the parents for letting the children see an hear of these things, and I know there is only so muuch that parents can stop but th parents should at least keep an eye on their kids.

the kids who did this are fucked in the head. Child's Play 3 had nothing to do with it.

the boys were nuts, ive seen child 3 many times & theres nothing they could blame this crap on. hopefully theyre locked away

It's humanities nature to find blame for anything other than the obvious - before it was video games, it was movies, before it was movies, it was music, before it was music, it was books, and so on.
Society can't seem to grasp the concept of humanity. As a whole, we are a pretty brutal race. If you have no outlet for this violent desire, it gets put into more negative fashions. Some people play sport - others join the army, if you can't find anything to work for you, then you're stuck with the desire for violence. People do not like to blame general mental state either - and if they do, it's always because of outside sources, and never "reasonless". At least that is how I perceive it - either way, this particular case was about as sick as it can get. |
