The Hills Have Eyes 2 [2007]

'The Hills Have Eyes 2', the sequel to the disappointing remake, is an absolutely vile, worthless and contemptible film and there really is not a single reason to see it other than to see people getting killed very graphically. The plot is awful and never gets developed, the acting is atrocious, the characters are props who serve no purpose other than to get hacked to pieces and whose vocabularies range from "shit" to "fuck".

This film is also an insanely gory one. Being a huge fan of gore myself, I certainly wasn't disappointed with this aspect, and this film almost overflows with some of the most graphic and bloody violence ever allowed in a modern mainstream horror film. There is at least one reason to see it, but it does not even remotely influence the film's overall grade.

As you can probably already see, I don't give out zero stars very often, but this film truly is a worthless, ugly, despicable pile of trash, completely devoid of artistic intent and is merely a lazy cash-grab sequel to a movie that wasn't worth watching to start off with.

I cant disagree more..I liked The Hills Have Eyes remake..it was a fresh take on a film by Wes Craven that was a small minor hit back in its hey-day. The Hills Have Eyes 2 is not as good as its predecessor but is in itself a decent movie.Merit the movie for what it is..Sometimes movies are made just for the sheer explotaion of gore and sexuality......though there is no sexuality in The Hills Have Eyes2..there is large displayed amount of gore. And if you are going to trash a movie for just the mere fact of being a lazy cash-grab sequel.....You would never have any other films past Friday The 13th part2....Never have a Nightmare on Elm Street movie past part 3....Never have a Halloween Sequel past part2..All those franchises did nothing but put out lame subpar cash-grab sequels....
