So these are the Classic typical plot outlines for Horror, so which do you prefer, Slashers or Ghost films? hard question, but most time i like classic slasher like halloween, nightmare on elm street, but sometimes the ghost stories are good too, what are your favorite slasher films or ghost films?

The slasher genre has been dead for a long time in my view. Unfortunately it's long death is still being dragged on. But I will always hold a certain fondness for the Halloween films.
Out of the two genres I much prefer a good ghost story to another teen slasher. Sadly there aren't alot of, what I would call, good ghost films. Some films that I enjoyed are: 13 Ghosts Ghost Ship The Sixth Sence Amityville Horror Polterguiest Haunted The Haunting None of these are great films, imo, but they are enjoyable

Its got to go to slashers. I only rarely see good ghost movies. The only oe that appeals to me is Poltergeist. But slashers there are lots!

Slashers own, but I'd love to see a "good" ghost movie. It's been awhile!

I'd have to say Slashers simply because I've had more luck with them in the past. But I DO love a good ghost story.

there is some really good movies of both, so is hard to compare, to a degree, when slasher movies out number ghost movies by alot, but i say the standard is with the ghost.

Ghost movies are hard to sell, but most seem to love the slasher types. Anyway...
Ghost: The Fog (1980) Slasher: Dressed to Kill (1981), Black Christmas (1974 Original), High Tension (2003) |
