Just a quick mention of a few changes with Horror Express.
First of all the esteemed Scott Davis (who has put a lot of work into the site since he joined) has now become an Editor of HE. So if you have any content related questions you can harass him as much as me.

Also English Reviewing Madman Lucio's Beard has joined HE as a Writer, you will once again be able to see his reviews in full glorious technicolor.

The Forums have also went through an upgrade. The current version is much for feature packed and stable. The skins are not available at present but there should be no other problems. If you have any problems with the board let know.
I'd also like to thanks all the visitors from the excellent ZombieKeeper.com, hope you all stick around. Thanks also to ZK himself for letting me post a begging letter on his forums. Hopefully we'll now see a little forum activity going on to make all my hard work worthwhile.

Indubitably!

Look for a Review to hit the page as soon as we've resolved the Beards login problems. Damn PHP and computers.
Enough to test the patient of a saint...

And (looking at your avatar) damn is it just me or is Willow actually *hot* now?
Can't wait for the next series of Buffy, that starts on Thursday. Mainstream Horror hack that I am!

Yes, Willow is very hot now. What series is starting up over there - number six or seven? I found six to be a real letdown but season seven is something truly special. Yes, it's my favorite show and I'm damn proud of it.

Glad it's not just me then!
God in the last series I was starting to think Tera wasn't too bad if I was pushed into it.

It's series 7 just about to start (SMG's last one maybe? damn), and I have to say I thought 6 was sorta o.k. It was series 5 and all that Military bullshit with Riley I wasn't too keen on. Glad you recommend s7 so highly though, really can't wait.

It *is* a show you can be pretty proud of now. The standard of it is pretty damn high, I don't care what people say.
I want more Faith in it though. Here she might be taking over from SMG if it continues. Yummm...

I thought that season six was the best since season 2. Sure it was "dark", as many people complained, but hey thats life, not always sunshine and pixie dust. I have had a hard time staying with Buffy and Angel this season but am desperately trying to get in the swing of it with the new episodes coming up.

You couldn't have picked a better man for the job.

Congrats Mr. Beard!

ARRGH!!!

No Spoilers!

I've only seen up to the end of Season 5. I originally refused to watch it when it was first shown over here when I heard it was cut. By the time the repeats were confirmed as uncut, I'd lost interest, plus I didn't want to start watching something half way through a season.

I'm now buying the Region 4 DVD's as they come out, and am really enjoying it.

My favourite Season is Number 2, and I didn't like Season 4 much, Spike the only plus point of that Season.

I thought everyone who watched it would have seen up to series 6 Hern!

The cutting here is annoying though, which is why I always catch the uncut versions. Sky One cuts the repeat and Beeb 2 cuts the first showing. Damn censorship.

Season 5 was probably my least favourite, but then I think it's probably gotten noticeably better since the early days.
Season 6 I thought was pretty damn good in most respects, even though Scott didn't like it. I certainly thought it was a noticeable step up from 5.
Season 7 is now three days away, and with this long a lay off, I'm counting the days.

TBF I don't think there's that much to choose between Buffy and Angel anyway so I'm equally looking forward to that. I was pleasantly suprised that Angel turned out to be good too.
Combined they are close to the only TV I am really interested in now.

Hi Tiffany.

I'm sorry to report that Mr. Beard has decided to take a break from the net and reviewing in general.
He said he may well be back after a while, so we hope it won't be too long. Keep your eyes peeled.

P.S. I'm really dissapointed too.

Ditto, John, Lucio is a terrible loss. A true grade-A talent if there ever was one.

Still, for the benefit of the rest of the HE readers, it sounds like he has his reasons and we let him know that we understand. We'll also welcome him back with open arms if he decides to return one day.
