Well, the whole point behind starting this topic, was to get more people posting here regularily, but I don't think that's going to happen any time soon.

Anyway,

Ah, from that, and your avatar, I can tell you're a fellow Numanoid, VideoDrome.

I always disliked Numan ever since he became known, the Cars period. And that dislike stayed until I heard Exile, and then Pure. And know I really appreciate what he's doing and have a lot of time for him. I think he's done a superb job of reinventing himself. I haven't listened to Jagged much, but it didn't grab me initially like Pure and Exile did. I'll get round to giving it a few more spins essentially.

As for "What I'm listening to?".

An absolute blast from my youth, the 25-year-old Nightboat to Cairo by MADNESS.
And In the Peace of the Night by WUMPSCUT. Wumpscut has a stupid amount of play from me since I discovered them almost a year ago, as evidenced by AudioScrobbler.

I always liked Gary Numan, on the other hand. Are Friends Electric is one of my favourite number ones of all time! I always disliked Madness and their cartoon image coupled with inane music, just never found them "cool" at all, sorry.

I am currently listening to Queen Adreena, damn she rocks harder than ten NU/Black whatever metal bands stuck together, never heard such vitriol and agression in a "lady's" voice!

Hahah. Ten I understand completely what you're talking about. I got into 'em as a young 'un, at about the age of 9. And I really haven't listened to them for 20 years. I still find them fairly listenable, in a nostalgic way though. But yeah they were definitely a "love 'em or totally hate 'em" group.

Currently listening to WUMPSCUT's - Mother.

VD, bit of German stuff there. You ever listen to any Wumpscut?
Any of you guys AudioScrobblers? Personally I just love this thing.

Yeah I own Replicas, The Pleasure Principle, and a Greatest Hits album from him. I think currently my favorite song is Dead Heaven.

I've been playing him a lot along some other electronic based acts like KRAFTWERK, Ladytron, or Goldfrapp.

I have a last FM page:

http://www.last.fm/user/VIDEODROME/

I do listen to various German groups but I don't think I've heard Wumpscut. I am a bit interested in checking out another group called Oomph!.

Just caught a couple of Oomph's tracks on the last.fm player and listened to a couple of your top artists. Nothings stuck with me just yet. Though we seem to have a few similar tastes, (Numan), Rammstein, Apocalyptica, VAST.

As for :Wumpscut: I'd definitely recommend them, as long as you get the right tracks - stuff like Pest, Wolf and Capital Punishment I'd recommend heartily. I'm just about to hit 5000 :Wump: tracks played in under a year, that's 100 a week. Wow, even sounds a lot to me.

[Oh, and Apocalyptica - Nothing Else Matters.]
