OK, not really a musical of course ...
Nox Arcana, the new music creation of Joseph Vargo and William Piotrowski, are finalizing their second CD for an October release, tentatively title Necronomicon.
The CD is based on Lovecraft's legendary book. I've been fortunate enough to hear several tracks, and its great stuff. It's the kind of music you want to play as you read a good horror book, and certainly play for a gothic, evil atmosphere. Perfect for Halloween parties, or anytime in October.
Vargo was formally involved with Midnight Syndicate, creatively as well as doing the artwork for the CD. He worked on the band's second and third CDs --- Born of the Night and Realm of Shadows.
It's great stuff. I listen to the first CD often, Darklore Manor, and can visualize my own horror movie to the music.
Nox Arcana are local guys and friends, just so you know. Regardless, the stuff rocks and any Horror fan will love it.
