Nicholas Roeg's DON'T LOOK NOW, that is. Not an exhortation to not open up this post.

I'd somehow avoided seeing this film through my youth, and finally got to see it only a few weeks ago.

I'm curious as to everyone's opinions of it.
Do you rate it is as one of the horror masterpieces?
Or do you think it's an utterly overated film that has no plot?

I'll leave my thoughts aside for the moment as I really want to see how you all view it.

Also mention how old you were when you saw it.
I saw the Wicker Man (which was part of a double bill with it upon release) when I was pretty young, and wonder if the age you see certain old films at has a great impact upon your enjoyment of them.
Are there some films that seemed simply brilliant in our youth, and a time of much lower budget films, but in this modern era seem very poor to our older eyes?

Let me know everyone!

Totally over rated piece of tosh.

People have berated Dario Argento for years for his use of style over substance as they call don't look now a classic. these people are insane and should be locked up.

Maybe the worst film I have ever seen and would have worked far better as a thirty minute short.

Thanks for the reply, and lack of fence-sitting, Garry!
Now come on, what about everyone else?

Masterpiece, or one of the most overated horror movies ever?
