Hello, my name is Charles. I'm an Indie Horror author. I love all genres of horror scarier the better but my favorite is bizzaro. The last movie that really scared the be-jesus out of me was It, everything else has made me laugh lately, well except the Rite but I think I went pee at the wrong time. My favorite horror author is Clive Barker, too bad he hasn't done anything in years. I really don't like all the remakes they are making lately and wish Hollywood would get some creativity again. My favorite horror movie series is Nightmare on Elm Street followed by the Hellraiser series.

Another horror author, eh? You'll fit right in.

We're of a very like mind. Barker is right about my favourite horror author, but like you, but it's about his early work. I gave up on him after Galilee, when his writing seemed to go from horror to (dark) fantasy. But the guy is/was a visionary for me.

I'm also a massive fan of HELLRAISER (one and two). You heard about the new abomination (http://www.horrorexpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6847) they're bringing out, so they can keep the rights from him?

As for Hollywood remakes we're all on the same boat. I think there's some powerful movies being produced in foreign-language cinema though. Have you seen [REC]?

Couldn't agree more about the recent deluge of Hollywood ripoffs.
