Help please

I am really desperate I LOVED a book as a young teen but I can not remeber the name of it, Ive been googling like mad but no use

I can describe a fair bit of it so hopefully someone will recognise it and be able to tell me the name or author or both!!!

A tree grew on a sacrifical site and its roots remebered the evil which took place there. when a small boys family moved to a new house which had belonged to his grandfather (I think the family name was williamson or wilkinson) the boy becomes attached to the tree.
Incouraging local children to drink the sap while being guided by his grandfather.

one child is hung by the others after "a trial"
the boy threatens his teacher with a machete (the blurb mentions this too)

erm the teacher concives a baby which was conceived under that tree

thats all i remeber roughly I know its not much but it was 10 years ago atleast since i read it last and i REALLY want to read it again

I had a similar problem (see the other thread with "Help" in the title) and managed to track the book down using phrases and words, the likes of which you've included in your post. Keep Googling the words and you may well find it.

Believe me I have googled and goooooooooogled (I think i spent 2 hours *blush* I really want this book) every combination of what i remebered i could think of

lots of horror fiction to do with tree's though i found out lol

There are a couple of horror movies I seen years ago, but I cant remember the name of either one. I do remember a couple of scenes from each that really are memorable if you have seen them. Maybe someone can help me!

description - This movie sounds like many other horror movies. A couple of times i thought i rented the correct movie,but no.....ok This movie is about a mad scientist on an island of cannibals. There are a group of people that come to this island. There is a scene where a person is walking through the jungle and set off a trap and a mattress size board with spikes on it sprung up and stuck to the person, and a bunch of cannabals were waiting in the bushes until the trap was sprung, and they all came to the person that was stuck and tore him apart eating...a really really gruesome scene....Thats really all i remember....I'm pretty sure Cannibal was in the title.

description II - I only remember one scene from this movie,but if anyone here has scene this, you will remember from what i'm about to say. There was a naked women laying on a bed in a dimly lit room and a killer standing over her with a big meat hook in his hands. The killer proceeded to insert the point of the hook into the womens private area and pulling up on the hook so the point came out her stomach. Then he pulled up really hard stretching the skin about a foot from her body....This was the most gruesome scene ever.I'll never forget looking over at my friend when we were watching this and seeing such terror and pain on his face.I saw this movie once over 21 years ago, and i don't remember the name.
