[Bloody Digusting | www.bloody-digusting.com ] has a few interesting scoops on some upcoming horror projects.
For one, Entertainment Weekly reports work is being done for a TV version of DR. JECKYLL & MR. HYDE. Now, while that would normally be ho-hum news, it's apparantly to be directed by Sam Raimi! Lord knows when he's going to have time what with the SPIDER-MAN sequel and all, so don't be surprised if he produces instead.
A little more concrete is the casting of Johnny Depp in SECRET WINDOW, SECRET GARDEN. The film will be directed by David Koepp ( THE TRIGGER EFFECT, STIR OF ECHOES ) and based on a Stephen King novella from the FOUR PAST MIDNIGHT collection. Depp is no stranger to horror, having appeared in A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, THE NINTH GATE and FROM HELL to name a few.
