I need your help. I have been trying to track down this horror novel for about the last ten years or so. Of course it would be a lot easier if I could remember the title or author. I'm going to give you what i remember about the plot and if you recognize the title or author please message me. Thanks. Anyway the story is about a possessed book that causes anyone who reads it to be transported to a creepy old house where they are sooner or later killed by a psychopath. Of course once they are killed their bodies are found in the real world. The police team investigating the murders eventually come to the conclusion that the book isn't magical just laced with some sort of hallucinatory drug thats causing people to die of fright. Of course at the end they discover that they were very very wrong!!!! Do you know or have this book? Thanks.
