It was okay...but like most of these things it started out well then stayed around too long. They always seem to be longer than they need to be. The changing house was a good visual though, esp from the outside.

A long review of 'Rose Red' is unnecessary, and there's nothing about this movie that can't be summed up in a few words; it's a television miniseries adaptation of Stephen King's novel The Life of Ellen Rimbauer: My Life at Rose Red, it's not very scary, it's not very interesting, and it's just not very good. Made-for-TV in every sense of the word.

A team of psychics are lead by Joyce Reardon, a psychology professor, into the decrepit mansion known as Rose Red in order to get scientific proof of ghosts. The mansion was thought to be haunted and quite a few people disappeared or were killed there. Her efforts unleash various spirits and uncovers the horrifying secret of the house itself - it's alive, hungry and insane.
