OK, time for a New Poll now that the current "Horror MOVIE of the YEAR? (2003)" has run it's course.
The, perhaps suprise, runaway winner HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES, with FREDDY Vs. JASON, and TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE taking 2nd and 3rd, and being the only other noticeable vote getters.
We've just about hit 1400 votes in the 6 weeks or so it's been up. Something I'm pretty pleased with.
So it's time for the new Poll as suggested by Caleb last month.
"What film are you anticipating the most in the coming year"
So far we have some good options:
Hellboy
Cursed
Alien Vs Predator
Blade Trinity
Ginger Snaps 2
House of 1000 Corpses 2
If anyone wants to tag another suggestion or two on now is the time, before the new poll goes up.
Suggest away.

You could add in VAN HELSING or RESIDENT EVIL 2.
Of course, my most anticipated movie this year will be the upcoming Japanese live action DEVILMAN film. Second place goes to the NEON GENESIS EVANGELION live action movie.
In fact, I think I'll start a new thread here at HORROR EXPRESS devoted to the DEVILMAN movie. I had one in THE CHOPHOUSE but after watching the new CGI teaser trailer, it's big enough news to share with everyone!

Couple of American movie's which come to mind...
Dawn Of The Dead has to be up there. I can't wait for it!
If it's due this year then maybe The Ring 2 should be there, I'm excited to see what they do with it.

OK Polls up guys (and gals). Have at it.
I've slimmed it to 6 Responses, some potential damn good films amongst them.
My christening vote went to HELLBOY. I've not read the comics at all, but something about the film just grabs me. And Del Torro is always good VFM. So it was between that and Blade Trinity.

How about breaking this down for the kiddies? (God, I hope my math is right  )
1. HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES (531 Votes) - 37%
2. FREDDY VS. JASON (308 Votes) - 22%
3. THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (253 Votes) - 18%
4. CABIN FEVER (104 Votes) - 7%
5. IDENTITY (94 Votes) - 7%
6. UNDERWORLD (79 Votes) - 6%
7. GOTHIKA (49 Votes) - 3%
So, looks like HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES got a healthy lead over everyone else, after some early peaking by FREDDY VS. JASON. And the bottom four, which include my favorite IDENTITY are awfully close. Thanks for everyone who voted and here's hoping that you enjoy the new poll.
Now thank JohnShaft for putting up the nice polls for you. THANKS JOHN! B)

Lol. I exist to serve mate, you know that.
I might not serve very *well*, but that is my purpose none the less. :afro:
Yeah HOUSE the Winner huh? Who'da thunk it?
Though comparing last years list to this years it seems to my untrained eye that the greater quality is coming out this year.
You know, the way you love IDENTITY I'm tempted to run, not walk, to the nearest DVD emporium.
We need an IDENTITY Review mate! ;)

I wrote one last year and promptly threw it right into the recycle bin. Now, you've seen the stuff I do publish. So just imagine how bad a review has to be for me to toss it out! :paperbag:

Now you know why I don't manage to publish any. :P
Heh, seriously it can't be that bad mate? Don't you find that movies you love OR hate are the easiest to write about? It's those that you are ambivalent about that are the toughies?
Oh, and as for the Current Poll, thanks to the Smart Alec that voted like *literally* 100 times for HOUSE OF 2000 CORPSES. Shame I had to dock 100 of the vote total. Next time I'll just set it to 0.
I don't know, there's always got to be someone who spoils the Party.
It's not like I want to require a HE Registered Account to vote. I thought fairplay (backed up by a cookie knowing you'd voted) would be enough to stop multiple voting.
What doesn't suprise me is that if someone was going to cheat they would be a fan of HOUSE... :whistling:

Amazing to think how low some HOUSE fans will sink huh?
I guess they disabled cookies, and then managed to make the 100 votes in a couple of minutes or so. Fanatics I say!
