Ive seen A LOT of awful horror movies, but this one just took the biscuit. Its my personal worst movie ever <_<

I do have to say that I thought maybe it wouldn't suck from the begining scene where they have him locked away. It was pretty cool, but it may just be that I love Cronenberg :D Then it turned into absolute sh1te. though the giant drill was a cool death piece, and those birds at Camp Crystal Lake were FIT :wub:

i fell in love with Jason at quite an early age, at the time something as simple as his "cool looking" hockey mask grabbed my attention. hell i was so young i didnt know the story really, i just knew it was fun watching this hockey masked killer slash up slu**y teenagers at camp.

then i got older and more involved and really understood Jason. his character is far more developed that i think people give him credit for. through the slew of movies, which i will admit, vary from great to bad, he remains as a child seeking revenge on the "children" who killed him and his mother. its a simple revenge story. i think thats the beauty of it. sure he murders random people and well, anyone he comes in contact with, but the beauty is that hes a child inside and i dont believe he knows any better.

that was probably one of the only things that i really enjoyed about Freddy vs Jason, was how they blatently took advantage of this realm of his story and exploited it in this movie. as to say, HEY CHECK THIS OUT, and then when you go back and watch the older films you can really see this, and notice it in his methods and ideas. the way he cocks his head to the side like a dog in the "huh what what" pose, or how he is relentless upon delivering his blow.

Jason Voorhees will always be one of my favorite characters in horror history.

My favorite slasher and cuz of that, probably my favorite film character period.

I like Jason's origin story the best of all the other movie killers; abandoned and left to die, lost the one person he loved, now eternally pissed off and out for revenge on anybody he sees. And of course he does actually die, then comes back to life as an invincible zombie.

Always saw Jason as the biggest beast of the slashers. Fuck part 8-10, but the rest of his movies in the series are dope. 5 is ok, but obviously loses points from a Jason mark like me cuz he ain't in it.
