Just got through with this one and really enjoyed it. I love everything Post apocolyptic, must be my anachist nature.

I tried to read Boy's Life before this one, and figured since I thought it was trey boreing, this one would suck the nasty too. Boy was I wrong, I'd rate it up there with King's The Stand. Great read, never slow moving and pretty smart too. Anyone read this guy's other stuff? I want more of the same, but that Boy's Life thing was written by his other personallity or somethin.

I have SWAN SONG, but I think it's packed in huge storage boxes, like most of my posessions from Minnesota before the move. :(

I have, however, read two McCammeron books. Both of them were very good, but they were as different as night and day so I get where you're coming from. STINGER was this brilliant, sweeping novel about alien invasion and body snatching. MINE was the story of this crazy radical throwback from the days of 60s and 70s homegrown terrorist groups like the SLA who kidnaps a baby. Like I said, both fantastic. But the spiritual center was different in each one.
