About half way through Face right now; this is not one I cant put down. It is very disturbing however. Cant say I have ever found myself scared by a novel, but this one disturbs me in a way I am kinda uncomfortable with. Very vivid Imagry...Very....Well.......disturbing. I have never read anything else by this author, so I didnt know what to expect from Face. There is a very helpless feel to it, that makes me relate a bit too well to the charectors in the story. Frankly, I am unimpressed by the writing style, but the disturbing factor is nothing to sneeze at I guess. :pinch: To evoke this takes a certain something that not many Authors have. Stephan King or Dean Koontz have never hit me this way.. I'm at a bit of a loss to explain it? Anyone else read Face or other works by Lebbon?
