So the headline probably gave our provider and our very hard-working webmaster a heart attack. It got you to read it, didn't it? Well sorry, much as I would enjoy the perks, Horror Express does not have any porno sections yet. Although, if you get the Region 1 DVD of CABIN FEVER, you might be awfully close.

In a news story that I have delayed reporting on for a long time, because of various personal things in my life, Bloody Disgusting reported that horror auteur and self-promotion machine, Eli Roth has filmed new material for the upcoming CABIN FEVER DVD in January. The DVD will feature an unheard of five audio commentaries - a feat that must make even the prolific folks at Tempe Video take notice.

Roth has also filmed new footage that will be placed as Easter Eggs (a.k.a. hidden features you have to hunt around for) on the DVD. The mini-story involves Deputy Winston partying with two beautiful women. These women include Playboy TV personality Janelle Perry and adult film star, Stephanie Swift.

Swift, a contract player for Wicked Pictures, has starred in some 298 adult films since 1995 (altogether now: DAAAMN!). She has been featured in long-running series like BABEWATCH, NO MAN'S LAND, RAINWOMAN, SHANE'S WORLD, SODOMANIA, VIDEO VIRGINS (She's been one of those six times, so figure that one out) and DEBBIE DOES DALLAS '99. Yikes!

Okay, so I've got a bad mind tonight. It's the IAFD's fault, I swear! And you might think I'm going for a cheap news story here. But the fact is Roth is continuing a tradition that has been going on for the past thirty years. John Carpenter has said that horror is respected only slightly more than hardcore. And sure enough, we've seen horror appearances by Marilyn Chambers (RABID), Robert Kerman (a.k.a. R. Bolla from CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST), Michelle Bauer (a.k.a. Pia Snow of nearly a hundred exploitation classics), Ron Jeremy (ZOMBIEGEDDON to name just one), Traci Lords (NOT OF THIS EARTH), Ginger Lynn (SATAN'S STORYBOOK, TAKEN), Savannah and Melissa Moore (THE INVISIBLE MANIAC - one of the worst horror films ever), Chasey Lain and Jenna Jameson (SAMHAIN) and Barbara Dare and Madison (both EVIL TOONS). And directors get into it too on both sides. Remember Roberta Findlay of SNUFF fame? And how about Fred J. Lincoln from LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT? The man has been in front of and behind the camera literally hundreds of times. So don't start the prudish finger-pointing here.

Now you can add Stephanie Swift to the list and check out the hidden easter eggs on January 20th. Call this report a way of making up for missing similar news on HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES.

Okay guys, story's over. You can breathe now.

Oh you know you love it! Come out of the horror closet in our FORUMS!

I'd point out about this point you have an un/natural obsession with Porn, if, well, erm, I didn't have one too.
(Oh and the rest of the 'Net connected World for that matter)
These women include Playboy TV personality Janelle Perry and adult film star, Stephanie Swift.
Swift, a contract player for Wicked Pictures, has starred in some 298 adult films since 1995 (altogether now: DAAAMN!).
I've only seen Ms. Swift in one film, and I'd have to say that she doesn't really float my boat. o:)
So don't start the prudish finger-pointing here.
Damn! Where *was* that finger-pointing Smiley? :shifty:

There is some talent (no I don't just mean TnA) in Porn though. One of my favourites is Traci Lords. She hasn't made any waves in her "film career" but have you heard her 1000 FIRES Album? My god that is such a good album by ANYONE. She really deserved a lot more publicity for it, given its quality.

Hahah. Caleb I think you're chances of wrestling "Official Porn Correspondent" out of Scott's hand is between slim and none.
Scott still has the privilege (?!) of having the only (soft) Porn review on HE. :afro:

Really though, all the Porn floating around here, you'd think that HE could benefit from a sister site. How about it guys. PORN EXPRESS...

(Incidentally, 4 replies to this News in a Heartbeat. I think we've found the 'secret formula' mate!)

Boy howdy, tell me about it! I went to bed early this morning, thinking, "Gee, hope John doesn't really get upset by that story." And of course, since we only get sporadic comments on the new stories in the forums, I didn't expect anything from this. Add on top of this that the good folks at Bloody Disgusting reported this almost a week ago. "Flash in the pan, no one will read it. It won't do a thing." Then I sign on this afternoon - four comments. Let me tell you, I DAMN. NEAR. PISSED MYSELF!!! :lmao:

Incidentally, just to make it clear, the connection I was making with the story was not just porn news. You can go to AVN or Luke Ford for that. No, I was just saying that Eli Roth had created a film that does something new while paying homage to the 1970s. That's what he's doing here. In the 70s, stars like Fred J. Lincoln and Marilyn Chambers started doing time (no pun intended) with horror as well. Here, Roth is doing the same thing, but with a new medium, that of DVD and the art of easter eggs. So there you go. Nope, no ulterior motive here. :whistling:

As for making the shift to porn, no doubt it would sell, but damn it would just kill my parents. Which is not to say I don't have a few *cough* in my collection. And the perks would be nice. Still, I have not seen any of Swift's films to my knowledge.

As for Traci, except for one, her films aren't exactly "legal" here in the States. But her album was indeed brilliant. An amazing album that I have listened to many, many times and have turned people on to in fact. I usually pop it in. About three or four songs in people will usually ask, "Wow, who is that?" "Traci Lords!" They're amazed. Amazing the sounds she makes when her mouth isn't full. D'OH! Going to hell for that one. :censored:

Anyone ever see the Japanese horror flick, EVIL DEAD TRAP (no relation to SAM RAIMI's trilogy)?

It's female stars were, or still are, AV IDOLS (Adult Video Idols, the Japanese term for porn star). So they didn't care whether or not their murder scene required nudity.

Now that's how you make a movie... naked Japanese sweeties covered in blood. :dribble:
