Hi everybody, i dont' know if there is already topic 'bout vampire movies but i ask anyway :)
Can u guys listup some good Vampire/werewolf/zombie movies here in this topic, plz :)
Movies like: Dog Soldiers, Vampires, From Dusk Till Dawn, 28 Days later, Bramstockers Dracula (best vamp movies ever), Underworld (i love this movie, probably one of the best vamp/lyca movies there is), House of the Dead (average splatter, lotta blood and big boobies bouncing).

my favorite vampire movies are ones that strip down the usual mythology. Cronos, Near Dark, and Martin are excellent.

Some good were wolf movies are American Werewolf in London, Wolfen, Howling, Ginger Snaps, and Bad Moon.

I am not up on my Frankenstein flicks but here is a few... Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell. Flesh for Frankenstein, and May.

Zombie movies: Romero's trilogy, Grapes of Death, Re-Animator 1-3, Nightmare CIty, Dellamorte Dellamore, Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue, Return of the Living Dead, Dead Alive, Two Evil Eyes, Zombie, Dead and Buried there are tons more but i am tired of typing

Zombies: the Romero trilogy (NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, DAWN OF THE DEAD especially, DAY OF THE DEAD) reigns supreme. Also Lucio Fulci's ZOMBIE and THE BEYOND. Recent Asian films WILD ZERO and VERSUS have put a fun spin on the whole genre, much like RE-ANIMATOR did seventeen years ago. Seventeen! God, I'm getting old!

Werewolves: Sounds weird, but the best wolf film could be a recent one - GINGER SNAPS. Also: DOG SOLDIERS, THE HOWLING (avoid the sequels), and of course THE WOLF MAN. If you want to see some incredibly fun werewolf movies though, check out the Paul Naschy films where he plays Waldemar Daninsky (MARK OF THE WOLFMAN, WEREWOLF SHADOW, NIGHT OF THE HOWLING BEAST, etc.) Naschy's films are so much fun, they should be illegal.

Vapires: Jean Rollin is the unheralded master of this, and creates more beauty and eroticism in ninety minutes than Anne Rice does in 500 pages. Bela's DRACULA is a classic as is Terrence Fisher's HORROR OF DRACULA (again, just DRACULA in the UK). I like THE HUNGER a great deal, it doesn't get much respect these days. Same with BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA - the title is terribly misleading but the film is brilliant. The last brilliant thing Coppola did probably. Oh, and of course Murnau's surreal NOSFERATU is a brilliant double bill with Werner Herzog's understated remake.

Frankenstein: James Whale's first two FRANKENSTEIN and THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN of course.

Devil/Occult: THE EXORCIST is probably the greatest horror film ever. Also of note is Alan Parker's brilliant occult detective story ANGEL HEART.

Slashers: PSYCHO, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 1974, BLACK CHRISTMAS and HALLOWEEN.

Greetings all,

My name is grimson and I'm from the FVZA. We have had some recent changes(not all for the good). To make a long story short we lost a good chunk of our members due to some others stupidness. Perhaps you wouldn't mind dropping in and giving some knowledge. Maybe even stick around. Thank you for your time.
