If u have seen the movie, then u know what i mean by the sequeel is that the movie ends without explainin if the other vampire "overlords"(2) the Marcus and the other one are going to kill the selene and the michael or let them live peacefully...well anyway, i would wanna know if someone of u have heard any rumours about sequeel...

i'm sorry 'bout spelling mistakes, it's 'cus i'm finnish and my english isn't as good as urs , but i hope u understand what i mean, and i hope i get my answers as soon as possible. :paperbag:

Personally I don't know that much about plans for an UNDERWORLD sequel, especially as I've yet to see it.

What I do know is that Kate Beckinsale (Selene in the movie) has said she would love to do a 2nd, and maybe even 3rd film.

Here's what I've dug up for you. I'll try and find out if there's any newer news, or anything more concrete.
In an interview with JoBlo.com, “Underworld” star Kate Beckinsale says they’re already moving forward on a sequel. “Just got back from a set of interviews with Underworld star Kate Beckinsale and her husband/director Len Wiseman. While those interviews will be up in full form early next week, I couldn't wait to share this little bit with you. Wiseman confirmed that discussions are already underway to bring vampire Selene and werewolf Michael back to the big screen in Underworld 2..."

“He explained that he, Kevin Grevioux and Danny McBride, who created and wrote the film together, wrote an entire plotline that follows the vampire/lycan world from the Dark Ages all the way to the future. Wiseman explains what audiences see in theaters next Friday is really the middle of the saga and the sequel will draw upon the history and future they created in their timeline.

“He describes the sequel as having about 15 minutes of prequel with hordes of vampires and lycans battling it out in armor atop horses in the 1500s then flash-forwarding to present day a la Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Would Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman return? Well we can't talk too much about which actors will and won't return because of spoiler concerns but I asked Beckinsale about the possibility of a sequel and she seemed more than ready. She explained there wasn't formal talk at her level yet other than hubby/director Wiseman casually asking her at home”

What can we expect in the continuing adventures of Selene? “This time we can expect more history about the vampires and the werewolves, which we weren’t able to do in the first one. There’s going to be a bit of actual battle in the medieval times between the werewolves and vampires, with like army-clad vampires on horses, kinda like “Braveheart”. It’ll play out a bit like “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” where the first ten to fifteen minutes of the film will be a prequel. We’re going to really dive into the dark ages, and then centre some more on the modern day. We will have a lot of the same cast, but also new cast too. It’s in early development, so of course we have no idea whom, but yeah, some new people will be involved… Marcus of course will be back”.

Does anyone know who does the song in the trailer of underworld i have been searching for it forever and i cant find it, dosent seem to be on the soundtrack so im at a loss of who did it. :crazy:

I can only assume that you live outside of the R1 DVD area since it hit shelves last week for us here in the USA. Check the AMAZON link below if you can't wait for it any longer...

The scene where that Vampire is fighting a warewolf with those silvwer whips whould have been better if the whip had wrapped around an appendage and sliced off say an arm or a leg.

Yeah, England :( So releases take a bit longer. I've decided I'm going to go with the (Japanese or Chinese?) Asian release, lack of special features but Im not a big extra's junky, and it's dirt cheap ;)

Only somone that is NOT a horror/scifi fan would think this movie sucked. It is the ultimate battle (next to Alien vs Predator) and a long awaited movie we fans have been waiting for. Myself, I think it was superbly done a patiently await the sequel.

Its a shame Victor had to die in that movie I liked his character.
I also like to see the guy who was bitten by both the vampire and the Lycans to get his butt kicked ;) I don't know I just didn't like him :lol:

I have Underworld on DVD and have watched it more than a few times it is worth the price, great movie.

Haha. I'm actully hoping that Michael acts like Lucian and tries to take over. And Selene ditches him and Marcus spares her life. And Kraven is never seen, But then again. A rule breaks "One asleep two awake" And Viktor some how comes back to life. I mean after all they were Immortal lol. So its like Viktor and Marcus reign. Then a bigger battle occours. I dunno I just cant fuc**** wait :censored:
