I have been trying to find the name of a horror/action movie that has eluded me for some time. A few things I remember is the white guy was in some sort of dungeon/gauntlet, there were skeletons and riches everywhere, and he got all this with a key maybe and escaped the dungeon unscathed. He was wearing modern (for the period) clothing. The time period should be between 80 and 84. I think I saw it on HBO at the time and it is in english. When I was a kid it scared the bejesus outta me. It's probably mild compared to what we all watch today but I would like to see the whole thing. I have checked the forums and imdb to no avail.

Thanks. And just as an update, it looked like that scene took place in a basement. The guy was wearing modern clothes (for the early 80's, late 70's anyway) and when he finally did pop out of the basement/dungeon it looked like 1970's San Fransisco or something like that.

Was just wondering if anyone had ideas yet on this. I have still been checking IMDB. Maybe theres a better place to search? If there was a place where I could see the early 80's HBO movie lineup, that would help.

Tried a good bit of Google-Fu on this one and I'm coming up with nothing. Sorry noob, this is a toughie and I'm damn sure I haven't seen it.

I'll keep digging to see what else I can find~if you're still looking. This might be a long-solved mystery by now.
