I'm just going to cover all my bases here up front, so as not to get the lawyers pissed at me. This story was reported by , who in turn got it from the , who in turn seems to have info from the . Moreover, HE takes no responsibility for whatever money is invested in this, although it certainly sounds like it would be worth it.

Okay, the weasely stuff is out of the way. Now, onto the story.

It has always surprised me that Jean Rollin has not caught on more than he has. His typical blend of seductive child-like vampire beauties in beautiful chateaus seems tailor-made for the goth crowd. But what gets all the glory? QUEEN OF THE DAMNED. It's a sick world.

In truth, I love Rollin's films. The best of them are tinged with a wonderful tragic beauty that just must be seen to be believed. Rollin was out of the spotlight for many years until his recent return to the form with TWO ORPHAN VAMPIRES and FIANCE OF DRACULA.

Now, Rollin needs your help in financing his next film, TRANSFIGURED NIGHT. And personally, I hope he gets enough help to get another beautiful project rolling. Those who donate $ 50 or more will recieve an autographed picture, a documentry on the making of TRANSFIGURED NIGHT and a personal copy of the VHS or DVD of TRANSFIGURED NIGHT after its completion.

Anyone wishing to invest is advised to send their donations to:

Lionel Wallmann "Transfigurated Night"

Post Office Box 4617

Ft Lauderdale Florida 33338-4617

The concludes by noting, "If, for any reason, the film does not go into production, each and every participant will be reimbursed any and all monies invested." This may be Rollin's last film.
