Gaspar Noé, director of the ultra-controversial is already planning his next film. He is being very coy about the details except to say that it will star Larry Clark alum, Tiffany Limos (KEN PARK, TEENAGE CAVEMAN).
Meanwhile, is reporting something that is uncertain, yet so exciting we just have to report it. "He wants to do a film in Japan that will push the limit technically and visually," the site says, "there's a rumour that this project might be co-directed/co-produced by Japan's wild child Takashi Miike!"
Now this would be incredible. Miike, who is completing his latest film CHAKUSHIN ARI (YOU'VE GOT A CALL), has said he is stopping horror. This report was met with shrugs from genre fans. After all, many of his films are so horrific already, they qualify by default. I also urge people to note the homages to ICHI THE KILLER, DEAD OR ALIVE and other Miike films in Quentin Tarantino's latest, KILL BILL: VOLUME 1.
Noé's other projects in the works consist of an adaptation of HISTORIE L'OEIL. The other is a project that sounds close to Larry Clark or Greg Araki (although hopefully better than both of these overrated filmmakers), a teen drama called SOUDAIN LE VIDE.
