Two new trailers to download for big name horror movies soon to be released are available for download.
The trailer for the remake of the Japanese classic Ring is available here (http://www.ring-themovie.com/main.html), with an exclusive (http://www.ring-themovie.com/exclusive.html) clip from the film available here. I have a real feeling they're going to murder this film though in an attempt to Hollywoodise it. It just gives off a Scream vibe.
The other trailer (http://www.houseof1000corpses.com), is from from Metal madman Rob Zombie's film House of 1000 Corpses, which I sincerely hope is better than the trailer makes it look.

ahh,
I was afraid this'd be bad. Too much hype about how good its supposed to be, gives me that 'battlefield earth' impression. I have a suspicion that the real reason its been postponed for so long insntt due to being overyly bloody/good, but that it just sucks and they are re-doing it.
I hope its good, but i dont expect it.

House we're talking about yeah?
I have to agree with you. I also have a feeling this one is really going to suck.
I don't know what I expected but all the trailers have left me with a feeling of "is that it?! why would I want to see that when it looks crap?"
I suppose I was expecting, well, um, Zombies. Is that too much to ask from a film called "House of 1000 Corpses" written and directed by Rob *Zombie*?
And all it seems were getting is stupid looking psychopaths in crap makeup. It's been done bigger and better before. Rob needed to bring a goreathon Zombie movie that gave you all you wanted and more.
Sadly I don't think that's what we're going to get. Not even close.

ah,
what can be expected from a first film?
I wasnt very interested to see House/1000 corpses, but now i'm not so much anxious to see it as curious to know if its as bad as i suspect.
A slight hope i have is in it hasnt been released years ago as a quik $ crap film. It probably cost too much to go direct-to-video.
I'd go see it at the theatre as long as theres no wise-cracking kid, mass market catch phrases, or Donnie Osmand in the film. A lucid plot would be nice, but that may be asking too much.
