take at the U.S. box office may not be BLAIR WITCH type success. And the film may have caught more than a few people off-guard. But all things considered, it was an indie smash.
Now that Eli Roth has pretty much smoked the U.S. BO, it's time to head over to the other side of the world and make a plea to the U.K. Most horror, at least popular literature and film, has it's roots in Britain. So, now he's making his case for something that even the U.K. hasn't seen before.
