[I 180w michaelmyers I]Dimension has served up not one, but two bits of good news, which shows that they just might care what we think after all.
First of all, remember that we reported on? Forget it. 'Aint happening. We can breathe a sigh of relief. "There are no plans to remake HALLOWEEN. That rumor is incorrect," a Dimension rep told . Dimension will continue with the HALOWEEN films, but in the form of more sequels, not another remake.
In the meantime, Dimension is giving us the chance to put our money where our mouths are. After the success of FREDDY VS. JASON, there was some talk of more VS. films from competing studios. Dimension turned to two of their luminaries and MICHAEL MYERS VS. PINHEAD looked like the most likely choice. Amazingly, it is being considered. Now, some people would welcome this project. Some (like myself) would see it reach new depths for both franchises.
Whatever your opinion is, you can now vote on whether or not you want this film to happen. The place to go is . When I voted, it was neck-and-neck, waaaay too close to call. So remember, your vote counts. This time, if you don't put your word in, you really will have no right to complain about the outcome.
On a final, unrelated note, if you head over to , you'll read an absolutely hilarious and envigorating interview with CABIN FEVER director, Eli Roth. He talks in length about the making of the film, the bad rap given to horror films, the ability of horror to get you laid (Sadly, not in my world, amigo.) and the possibilities of a CABIN FEVER sequel. It's required reading.
