Name's Brandon; 34, living in Boulder, Co, and just want to say it's good to be a part of the horror community of fans alike. I've been writing for a long time now without a single acceptance, but I'm still plugging away. I've bought every horror fiction mag I've been able to find, but can't seem to find any that really cater to my kind of work. Suggestions, of course, are welcome.

Hello Brandon, welcome to HE...I have read some of your works...interesting...impressive word play on your part! I too am a writer of the darker things...we should discuss things if you get a chance.

Thanks for reading, Todd. I would be more than happy to talk horror. What kind of movies and books do you like?

Well Movie wise I would say I am pretty open to most, but my faves will always be Romero's Dead series. As far as books go...anything from Tim Lebbon, Tom Piccirrilli, Ray Bradbury, Brian Keene, Douglas Clegg, Bowie Ibarra or any writer worth his weight. How bouts you?

Welcome to HORROR EXPRESS :afro:

Here everyone is laid and we don't judge anyone, throw stones, or start a witch trial. So feel free to browse around and talk about all the horror you want.

Enjoy your stay. :)

Thanks for the welcome. Love the picture, by the way, Bloody Mary. In response to Todd, I'd have to say Clive Barker, Ramsey Campbell, and Jonathan Carroll. I'm still a fan of An American Werewolf in London; and love Carpenter's The Thing. Anything remotely disturbing, or leaves a nice little scar in a good way...

I'm a writer trying to get representation myself, Brandon. Know the feeling. Don't give up, man.

Good idea. You can be president. I'm serious. I think there's a story idea happening here.
Hey, Todd, thanks for the banner on your page. Looks great. I usually have to contact my web designer to relay how I want things. I can put your banner up, but it messed up the link, so I have to have him fix it. Plus, I didn't want you at the bottom of the Bloodline, but near the top. So, a little patience is required.
I'm starting to feel like a team of banded brothers.
I still like your idea, but believe it or not, I just sold two stories in three weeks, so I can't say I'm not published anymore.
I can't believe it either...
Brandon

Writer's Helm is publishing a reprint of Angel. Static Movement is just exposure, but they published Barriers. I also got my first real piece of fan mail today sent through the website. Someone out there is reading my stuff and wants to read more.
Crazy...
But in a good way...

Oh, you're going to give me a big head. Let's just say, though, that I am trying to take darkness to a new level.

I'm still trying to contact my web designer on the dead watch link on my site. I was able to put the banner up, but I killed the link somehow. Still trrying to get a hold of him...

Cool, It's up. I'd like to have him move you higher on the list, though. I've tol him countless times! You're on the bottom as it is, but only because that was the order we recieved them. I keep telling that guy and telling that guy...
Kidding...
