I have to start checking my mail. ALONE IN THE DARK may seem like just another video game throwaway tie-in. But there are so many people popping up in this film, I half expect to find out I'm in it.
The film from HOUSE OF THE DEAD director Uwe Boll has been gaining a lot of steam as it begins principal photography. , Christian Slater (who has gained a lot of respect from his stint on THE WEST WING, never mind my KUFFS jabs) will be playing the lead character of Edward Carnby. Also joining the cast is Tara Reid (who I loved in JOSIE & THE PUSSYCATS and I don't care who knows it) and now Stephen Dorff (BLADE).
ALONE IN THE DARK is now filming in Vancouver and will be released next year by Artisan Entertainment. Behind the scenes photos can be found on the . Boll's other zombie video game movie from Artisan, HOUSE OF THE DEAD, will be released this fall.
