Towards the end of it's six year run, XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS was the most watched television show in the world. Quite a feat for a cornball show about Amazonian warriors battling evil in various historical and mythological settings.
Lucy Lawless followed her role with a brief bit on THE X-FILES. But since then, we haven't heard much from our little barbarianette. She's been kicking back in her native New Zealand, enjoying being a mom. But it looks like she's set to team with Raimi & Co. again - specifically Rob Tapert, now that she's joined the cast of Ghost House's THE BOOGEYMAN.
This is the flagship release of their horror production company. It involves a man going home to confront his childhood fears, and you can bet they aren't the cuddly kind.
No word about how big Lawless' role is, but you can bet it's a little longer than her funny SPIDER-MAN cameo. BOOGEYMAN is currently filming in New Zealand.
