True to form, there's just no killing THE BLOB. This little pile of goo has withstood the test of time. He even outlived the star of the film, Steve McQueen. The Jello Shot of Terror has endured through the years. Personally, I think a lot of it has to do with his kickass theme song.
And this weekend, people gathered to celebrate their appreciation of the flexible movie monster. The Fourth Annual BlobFest was held in a small town outside of Philadelphia, the same setting of the classic film. The climatic drive-in scene was even re-enacted at the Colonial Theatre.
