If anyone can help me, I would be so very grateful!
Many years ago, (probably from approx. 1963 to 1967) my mother took several of us (we were in grade school at the time) to see a movie in Dayton, KY and my brother and I have been searching for the title and info for years now. At the time, it was the most frightening movie we had ever seen!! This is what I rememeber...
It featured a young lady who had an invalid mother in the home. The home was 2 story and the mother had a wheel chair that worked by remote to go up and down the stairs. The attraction to the flim (the commercial) was during an intermission, you could leave the theater if you felt you couldn't stand the fright of the ending! There was a beating heart on the screen ~ thumping sounds included, of course (-: I recall at the very end of the film, the Mother comes down the stairs in her wheel chair and as she stops at the bottom, her head rolls off her body and almost to the feet of her daughter. Of course, all the (mostly kids) people in the theater went crazy and hide under their seats for some time before leaving.
I have been searching for so long to find any info on this picture. Thanks for the help anyone might be able to give.
