Actually I think this board is kinda nice. I have seen certain boards.... :censored: that it gets over run with flamers. BUT this board does need to branch out. May I suggest going to "other" message boards to promote the site? One more thing....this board has the BEST smilies. :D

Good points guys, thanks for making them.

Believe me we REALLY want the Forums to become very active. Unlike a lot of horror Forums we put a lot of work into the main page though. It really is the *main* part of the site.

Still I appreciate everyone that posts here, because even a small increase in the posters is making the boards much more active than they were. Hell in the early days you could go a month without a single post!!

Posting on other Forums about our Forums? Yeah I have thought of that, but personally speaking I don't do much posting on Horror Forums, and would feel totally mercenary posting just to promote our rival Forum.
Scott does a good job of spreading the word everywhere he posts.

I think mainly it's a case of the snowball effect. As more people come and post more will continue to join in.
I like to think the Forum is reasonably well put together and it's just numbers we lack currently.

Oh, and yes Shadow, the smilies here do Rock :spike:

Which isn't a helluva lot really.

Seriously, all the points you make are good and I couldn't agree more. We could always do with spreading the word about Horror Express. I try as much as I can, but I too do not post much. Sometimes at DVD Maniacs, but not much regularly. That may change soon, as there are some great sites out there.

But if you want someone to thank for the shape of the forums, the smilies, the format, everything - thanks has to go to our own JohnShaft. Not only was it his brainchild, he's done an incredible job at maintaining them and trying to improve them. B)

And seriously, thanks to all the people who have been posting. I've been absolutely blown away by the huge amount of growth in the site within the last few months. I promise HE is here to stay and we will continue to grow and try to give the best entertainment and information possible!

You need a password to be allowed to upload to a website provider.

I could make you some graphics if you want!

Sorry, I just don't like seeing raven being the last one to post in a topic, normally it's me.
