60's Movie Question????

Hello, need help with a horror/thriller movie from the 60's, looking for the title...All I remember about the movie is that there were little creatures living in the basement of this house, and the final scene was them dragging a woman down the steps, and she was taking pictures of them, they would scatter because they were scared of the light, thanks in advance!!! Actually, it sounds like a scene from the 1980s film BASKET CASE 2 or even GREMLINS, but I know that can't be right. :huh:

If you ever find the answer, pass it on. This is going to be bugging me all day.

Yeah Gremlins is my best guess too. Especially if you substitute basement for attic.

Over 10 years out if you say it was made in the 60's though...

Nah, not Gremlins. I know the film he means but I can't remember the title for the life of me! I don't think it was 60's though, the one Im thinking of is late 70's early 80's. At the time I seem to remember I found it quite unsettling! :)

The movie is called "Don't be afraid of the dark" it came out in 1973
